/context-query
Context Query
File activity intelligence across your repo
Bespoke TierIntelligence & Research
Overview
Uses the tastematter CLI combined with grep and glob to answer questions about work context. Surfaces which files matter, what is hot or cold, how files cluster, and where you left off after a break.
What It Does
- Runs composed context queries returning executive summaries, heat metrics, and work clusters
- Surfaces file heat (specificity, velocity, percentile) across configurable time windows
- Identifies co-accessed file groups with PMI scores to reveal implicit project boundaries
- Provides session-grouped history and conversation chain tracking
Inputs
- Query topic or file pattern
- Time window
- Optional chain/session filters
Outputs
- Executive summary
- Heat-ranked file lists
- Work clusters
- Continuity notes
Example
/context-query
After a 3-day break, run /context-query with "steepworks" to see what files are hot, which sessions touched them, and where you left off. The response shows website components are HOT and suggests reading the latest social queue first.
