Quality Gate
An automated checkpoint in a skill chain that evaluates output against defined criteria before allowing the workflow to proceed.
Quality gates are the enforcement mechanism for content and code quality in Knowledge OS. The anti-slop check (7.5/10 minimum), the skeptical buyer critique (must pass would-take-call test), and the 4-agent review (consensus publish/revise/reject) are all quality gates. Gates differ from reviews: they have pass/fail thresholds and block progression when failed. The editorial gate catches 30+ anti-slop patterns. The buyer gate catches messaging that sounds like a pitch instead of a pain. The review gate catches strategic positioning gaps.
