Knowledge OS is the three-layer architecture that makes Claude Code useful beyond single conversations. Layer 1 (Foundation) is your CLAUDE.md, rule files, and knowledge graph. Layer 2 (Skills) encodes repeatable processes as reusable instruction sets. Layer 3 (Agents) adds autonomy with scheduled execution and multi-agent orchestration. The system compounds: every correction improves the knowledge base, every workflow teaches the next one. After 2.5 years, 52 skills, and 889 documents, the system produces better output than it did on day one because context accumulates.
